• The Board of Directors of Asharqia Chamber will visit Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Tuesday

    The Board of Directors of Asharqia Chamber visited the pavilions of major Saudi and foreign companies at Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition (ADIPEC) and will visit the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Tuesday.

     

    On Tuesday 13 November 2018, the Board of Directors of Asharqia Chamber will visit Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as a part of its visit to the United Arab Emirates.

    It meets the President and members of the Council of the Chamber in order to identify the most important investment opportunities in the Emirate of Dubai, in an effort to promote economic integration between the two countries.

     

    The Chairman of Asharqia Chamber of Commerce, Abdulhakeem bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, said that the members of the Board are keen to discuss ways to enhance cooperation with the brothers in the business sector in the UAE.

    The Board's visit to the Dubai Chamber of Commerce is an extension of the Council's visit to the Abu Dhabi Chamber and in the interest of the Council to enhance communication and cooperation in the current circumstances that pave the way for exploring investment opportunities in both countries and create partnerships that meet the needs and ambitions of the business sector in both countries.

    During the visit to the Abu Dhabi Chamber, AlKhalidi explained that members of the Board listened to a detailed explanation of the investment opportunities that are available to the Saudi business sector in different regions, in addition to the procedures and facilities available, which aims to develop the reality of different sectors on both sides.

     

    On the other hand, on Monday, the Board of Directors of Asharqia Chamber visited Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition (ADIPEC), which is being held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

    It is a global gathering of specialists in the oil and gas industry around the world under one roof, where the members of the Council visited several wings of major Saudi and Arab companies and foreign participation in the exhibition and know the most prominent achievements in the oil and gas sector as well as the most important investment opportunities offered in this sector.

     

    The council met Ameen al-Nasser, president of Aramco and the Chief Executive Officer, during its visit to the company's pavilion participating in the exhibition, where they listened to the objectives of participation and the most prominent services provided to investors.

     

    Moreover, Secretary-General of the Chamber, Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Wabil, said that the Council is keen to follow up every new in the business world and is interested in learning about the latest developments that can benefit from and localization, in an effort to contribute to the development of the mechanism of work.

    He added that Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) is an important global platform for the exchange of experiences and best practices that will enable experts and specialists in the global oil sector to exchange information and ideas that contribute to shaping the future of the energy sector in the world.

     

    The Council visited Louvre Museum, which is hosting this year's exhibition «Trade routes in the Arabian Peninsula - masterpieces of the effects of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the ages» that is organized by the National Authority for Tourism and National Heritage at the Louvre Museum of Abu Dhabi.

    The visit came in response to the desire of the Chairman of Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage, His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman, of the importance of visiting the museum and the masterpieces in the exhibition.

    The delegation also visited the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, may God have mercy on him, and learn about its most important parts. ​
